If you want to maintain your new pin-straight smile, you’ll need to wear a retainer after completing the Six Month Smiles treatment.
For the first couple of months after getting your braces off, you should aim to wear your retainer for up to twelve hours a day to achieve some stability so that you can transition to overnight-only wear.
You should continue to wear your retainer for up to a year after completing your treatment, after which you should be able to switch to wearing it every other night.
