Dvija is one of the reasons we’re able to provide a better patient experience at Portmore. She’s a gifted dental hygienist and therapist with an easy chairside manner who anticipates her patients’ needs and works with the team to deliver clinical excellence.
As a therapist, she is able to treat patients for routine hygiene appointments, restorations and gum disease.
Dvija qualified with a BSc in Dental Hygiene and Therapy from the University of Birmingham. She has attended courses to increase her knowledge in the treatment of periodontics — gum hygiene — in general dental practice as well as achieving a qualification in teeth whitening.
Dvija encourages preventative care with all her patients and believes good oral health education and advice is the key to maintaining a healthy smile.
Alongside prevention, her interests lie in teeth straightening and cosmetic dentistry.
Away from the dental practice, Dvija enjoys baking and yoga.
