The Galileos “all in one”3D scanner at the practice is able to produce an instant digital image which displays the entire upper and lower jaw and surrounding region in one 3D volume; consequently treatment can be assessed and planned in one step.
The 3D volume goes far beyond any two dimensional image and allows precise assessment of the teeth, bone structure and anatomical features in their exact spacial dimensions.
A single low-dose 3D scan provides our practitioners with the ability to do comprehensive diagnosis of the entire jaw region; the Galileos Scan combines the data of 200 individual exposures taken in 14 seconds to create a 3D volume at a high level of detail. The technology also allows for small region close up views at double the detail without an additional scan.
