We
believe it is vital to help children
care for their teeth from an early age,
this will give their teeth and gums the
best possible start and will help children
to be aware of the importance of their
dental health.
We
offer routine examinations to children
from the approximate age of 3 years,
although bringing your children with
your from an early age will get them
used to the environment of the dental
practice and help them become more familiar
and relaxed with the surroundings.
We
offer one free oral health visit (approximately
15 minutes) for children whose parents
are registered patients of the practice,
these are run by our hygienists, these
sessions will teach children about caring
properly for their teeth and how following
a healthy diet will help prevent decay.
Many
children need to have orthodontic treatment
and we will keep a close watch on the
way our young patient's teeth are developing.
Our
hygienists can also provide fissure sealants
for children. These are a very thin
plastic coating which is painted onto
the permanent back molars, helping to
prevent decay. These are charged at £25
per tooth.
All
children whose parents are registered
at the practice will receive two free
check ups a year and one free 15 minute
hygiene session.
Children
whose parents are not registered will
be charged at half the adult rate for
check ups and hygiene. Please see fee

All
treatment will be charged at a sessional
rate of £45 per 15 minutes. |
